The Bible tells us in 1 Peter 2:9 that as Jesus' disciples we are a peculiar people. In other words, we are not ordinary. In fact, based on this passage we could say that we are uncommon. The book of Proverbs is full of knowledge, wisdom and instruction to help us live as God's uncommon people with uncommon sense, because what's become common isn't what we're called to.
