Mike Morawski shares his incredible (but harrowing) real estate journey with us today. We speak about how he transitioned from being a successful general contractor in Chicago in the early 90s to running a $20m sales agent business in the late 90s to building a private equity firm that purchased 4000+ apartments in the mid 2000s. Unfortunately, some bad business decisions made during the 2008-2010 financial crisis resulted a catastrophe for Mike, who ended up serving 7.5 years in a federal prison after his investors lost millions of dollars.

Mike was extremely candid about his experiences and how he picked himself up afterwards. His story offers many lessons for new and experienced investors and I hope you'll enjoy the conversation.
