Erin B. is a former marketer at Uber & Austin city-dweller who moved back to her hometown to cut down on expenses in order to lower her debt. Then she got laid off. Less than a year later, she’s happily earning less, saving more, getting creative with real estate investing & home renovations, and getting ready to start the nail salon/coffee bar of her dreams.

We cover:

What it was like to grow up in a small town with her sights set on big city living and how that feeling has morphed.  Growing up with financially-responsible parents and how that led to overindulging on credit cards.  How she and her husband went from avoiding money-talk at all costs to slashing debt and getting creative with their investments.  How she and her husband use her salary for living expenses and use his salary to payoff debt & invest in their dreams.  How they were able to buy two houses with $0 cash down and already have thousands in equity built-in.  Why they splurged on a nice car after having no car payments for several years.  Her plans to build a hometown nail salon and why she values business as a path to "schedule freedom."
