Coach Lauren Coleman of Beckman High School

On this episode I spoke with Coach Lauren Coleman. She is the current Head Coach at Arnold O. Beckman High School in Irvine, California. We discussed her journey through coaching, which started very quickly after playing and graduating from Florida State University. Coach Lauren takes us through her achilles injury that happened before her sophomore season at FSU, and how she bounced back. She tells us about things she has learned as a young head coach, and what it was like helping start a program at Cal Marimar.  She even dives deep into the Black Lives Matter movement, and shares her perspective which between her and I, is the only one that matters. I'm excited to share this conversation. I believe it is one that many should tune into!
