Today on the couch we chatted with Earl Glazer. When he’s not flying 777’s, his hobbies include riding (really aggressive geometry) bikes and building his own steel frame sets. We dove into his past as a cyclist in the 70s, and how he got into building custom geometry steel bike frames. We also talked about some of the benefits of steel frames and how they differ from the heavy, sloppy steel bikes of the past. We even get into the process of getting a custom bike made, options, and turnaround times you can expect when someone is making a bike by hand. We also get a couple of tips out of Earl as to how he makes sure to get in his training with such a busy life. If you want to contact Earl, you can find him at earlglazercycles.com
