Joe talks about his visits to the hospital after seeing blood is his ostomy bag and how scary it was for him.  He also talks about all the different doctors that see him in the hospital and how to communicate with them and yet making sure that the Crohn's doctor and/or surgeon is still in charge of everything going on and not just the doctor's who show up at your bedside.  Communication with nurses and doctors are very important and Joe discusses how to make sure you know what is going on and who is the leader of your care.  108 days in the hospital and 74 blood transfusions this year.
