5, 6, 7, 8…. What ever happened to 1, 2, 3? Pushing the boundaries of progressive training has created some amazingly complex exercises and techniques. This is all fine and dandy as long as they are layered on top of a solid foundation of form, technique and fundamentals. You want to perform level 5 exercises? Master the level 1, 2, and 3 of that movement pattern. Martial arts and gymnastics training start with basic fundamental building blocks that develop into incredible physical acts that seem to defy physics. Mastery of the basic elements allow the layers of complexity to layer on top without compensation or inefficiencies. So go back to the squat, deadlift, press and pull patterns and master the fundamentals. Then you can throw your kettlebells around and add explosive rotational elements that will wow the crowd! Do this in reverse and you will end up injured or in a dreaded plateau. I want to give a special thanks to all the sponsors for their continued support of the show.
