Veteran award-wining journalist and author Scott Shane discusses his new book, "Flee North." The book tells the story of Thomas Smallwood, an abolitionist, liberator, and writer, who bought his own freedom and led hundreds out of slavery.
Plus, a group of climate activists in Montana recently won a lawsuit against their state government. A judge ruled that the government failed to provide a clean environment, as guaranteed in Montana’s constitution, by supporting fossil fuel infrastructure.
