On this episode of The Cinedicate, we not only gush about Robert Pattinson, we unpack perhaps the most grounded Batman and superhero film to date. This is the most cinematic take of the Caped Crusader that strips away most of the fantastical and leaves what makes the character resonate so well. We also theorize what the next installment will feature in Part 2.

The Batman takes place in modern-day Chicago Gotham as Batman is two-years into his experiment as a vigilante in his corrupt city. As a serial killer that goes by the name Riddler, Batman must work alongside the City's Commissioner to solve the clues left behind to reveal the identity of the killer.
