Doubting any part weakens faith

September 23, 2020 04:00 - 11 minutes - 15 MB

There are many parts of the Bible that go against our natural understanding and are supernatural and miraculous. So what do we do with that? Well, if we doubt those parts of the Bible because it goes against our natural understanding, then we make our faith ineffective. For our faith to be strong and effective, we must accept the whole Bible and not doubt parts of it. Links: Subscribe, Partner

Opened nor closed doors indicates the will of God for your life (Discussion Replay)

September 21, 2020 01:30 - 1 hour - 101 MB

Believers will often say, "If God wants me to go this way, then He will open a door of opportunity," or, "this door closed because God has something better for me." God can open and close doors of opportunity, but the state of the door (aka opportunity) doesn't indicate the will of God for your life. Watching doors open and close can mislead you and put you in a state of confusion. Links: Subscribe, Partner

Stop so you can move forward

September 18, 2020 04:00 - 8 minutes - 11.7 MB

For most of us, we are doing a lot of things, striving to succeed in our calling. Some things God called us to do and other things we decided to do. However, in either case, when God drops insight in your spirit for a new opportunity or direction, there is a strong possibility that He is also telling us we need to stop doing some things. He tells us to stop doing some things so that we can free up time and resources for the new thing He desires us to do. Links: Subscribe, Partner

In today’s message, I am answering a question from one of our listeners. God’s words in the Bible are seeds

September 15, 2020 04:00 - 10 minutes - 13.7 MB

God’s words in the Bible are powerless if they are not planted and watered in our heart. For example, an apple seed is useless until it is planted in the ground and watered properly with rain, then it can produce an apple tree. In the same way, God’s words are seeds that need to be planted and watered in the ground of our heart. Once planted and watered, the word-seed’s harvest is faith. Links: Subscribe, Partner

When a spouse is not ready for the vision (Pastoral Chat)

September 12, 2020 00:25 - 4 minutes - 5.97 MB

Earlier today, our podcast message was about submitting your vision to your spouse. From that message, I received a listener's question asking what should they do if their spouse is not ready to walk in the vision God has given them. Since this question reflects many married couples' situations, I recorded a Pastoral Chat sharing my thoughts on this question for all of us. Link: Partner

You must submit your business or ministry to your spouse

September 11, 2020 04:00 - 7 minutes - 11 MB

Submission in many households is a bad word, but it is a word God loves. We may be familiar with it in the context of wives submitting to their husbands. However, this word also applies to our businesses or ministries. If you are married (husband or wife), God expects us to submit our business or ministry to our spouse. Links: Subscribe, Partner

Our next level of success requires a bold move of faith (Discussion Replay)

September 07, 2020 00:26 - 1 hour - 135 MB

Most of our calling is composed of small steps of faith directed by Holy Spirit. However, at opportune times for us to advance to our next level of success within our calling, a bold move of faith is required. All of our previous small steps have built up our faith in God, so when the time comes, we have the required faith to move up in a big way. Our next level is not gained by playing it safe, but by moving boldly when God says to move. Links: Discussions, Partnership

Debt hinders the call of God on our life

September 02, 2020 04:00 - 11 minutes - 15 MB

Most of us grew up in the midst of debt. Our parents had house and car notes. Our churches had mortgages on the Church builds. And so on. Because of the culture influence of debt many of us have debt on everything from clothes to cars. However, this is not how God designed us to live. He designed us to live debt free because debt hinders the call of God on our life. Links: Discussions, Partnership

Deviating from known details invite failure (Discussion Replay)

August 24, 2020 01:00 - 1 hour - 97.6 MB

God gives us grace in implementing our calling when we are unsure about some of the details because we all are a work in progress. However, we must be vigilant not to deviate from the details we do know. Success is in the God-ordained details of our calling, and failure is in the deviation from those details. God is good, so He warns us when we are deviating. But our hearts must be open to heed His warnings. Links: Workshop | Partner

Your outward actions are useless when your heart motive is wrong (Daily Word)

Work in rest instead of stress (Discussion Replay)

August 17, 2020 01:25 - 1 hour - 98.7 MB

We can achieve success one of two ways — rest or stress. The stress way of success is a repetitive rat race of hard work, just barely making it, and if you do, it costs your life. However, the rest way of success is trusting in God, following Holy Spirit’s directions, and not carrying the burden of making success happen through your own power. God allows us to choose which way to take, but most of us choose the way of stress because of an ingrained mindset that says success comes from hard w...

Is there a requirement for believers to tithe? (Daily Word)

August 06, 2020 07:07 - 19 minutes - 25.6 MB

A question I get a lot is “Are believers required to tithe?” It is a simple question, but this question has caused church splits and furious debates. Some say yes and others say no. In today’s Daily Word, we will walk through the scriptures together with the goal of answering this question. At the end of this message, I will share which side I come down on regarding the question of whether there is a requirement for believers to tithe.

Take care of yourself first (Daily Word)

August 05, 2020 04:55 - 7 minutes - 9.39 MB

Because we are children of God, we have an embedded desire to help others. However, before we can help others, we first need to take care of ourselves. If we get this out of order, we will fall and pull others down with us. Once we are whole and stable, we can truly help others. Listen to today's Daily Word to learn about this biblical concept. How do I get out of debt? (Daily Word)

August 04, 2020 04:00 - 8 minutes - 11.5 MB

I received a question from a listener who asked, "How do I get out of debt?" Well, the common answer is to cut expenses and live below your means. However, that is only part of the solution. The other half (probably the most important half) of the solution is to make more money. When we look at the scripture, the answer God gave us to get out of debt is to make more money through the blessing on the works of hand. Listen to today's Daily Word to explore this question and answer. Links Kin...

Don't assume an assignment is forever (Daily Word)

August 03, 2020 04:00 - 11 minutes - 15.3 MB

God gives us assignments that are for a moment, season, or lifetime. As we are doing an assignment, we may not know which time frame it falls into. Therefore, it is important to stay connected to Holy Spirit and not assume an assignment from God is forever so that we can be open to hearing if (or when) a change in assignment comes. This is important because God's anointing for success follows His assignments.  Listen to today's Daily Word to explore this concept. Links Discussion Partne...

Is the anointing gone for that assignment (Discussion Replay)

August 03, 2020 01:33 - 1 hour - 98.1 MB

It is critical for us to stay aware of God's current assignments within our calling. This is important because when God ends one assignment and instructs us to undertake another, He removes His anointing from the old assignment and transfers it to the new one. If we miss the transition, He does not force us to stop the old assignment. He will allow us to keep going without His anointing. However, this is not a good situation for us because without the anointing, that same assignment that use...

Business success is hindered by an unfulfilled spouse (Daily Word)

Kingdom Principle - Acknowledge the facts but speak the truth (Faith Chat)

July 29, 2020 20:02 - 4 minutes - 6.22 MB

COVID-19 has created two camps. One camp says COVID-19 is not that bad and we should go about our normal lives. The other camp says COVID-19 is the worst thing ever, everyone should be sacred, and we are never going back to normal. Both of these opposing viewpoints are not kingdom principles because as kingdom citizens the principle we use (in this situation or any bad situation) is "acknowledge the facts, but speak the truth."
