Job 38-41
Though Job was a man of integrity, he seemed to hide behind self-righteousness during the conversations with his friends. He became accusatory of God and demanded a trial. So, God comes and sets Him straight. When God speaks, Job is no longer speaking. He is quiet and receives all that is coming from the Lord. As the Lord goes after Job’s accusations, He is preparing Job to receive the righteousness that only He can give.
