Peter Smith

1 Corinthians 11.17-34

Jesus instituted a way to remember Him each time that the church gathers. This involves food and can be done in a number of ways. For the church in Corinth, they had meals together - but they didn’t wait for everyone to come. Before everyone could arrive, much of the food and wine was gone. In fact, people were getting drunk in their “remembrance” of Jesus. How does this passage impact us today as we no longer have a regular meal together?
