This was a far-ranging conversation that started with Clayton’s wife’s role in the movie Crash. I couldn’t help but think that the race, class, family and gender issues in the movie could easily be applied to the disabled community, even though the film premiered before their son Ezra, an amputee, who is one of the top Paralympic athletes in the world, was born. Through Angel City Sports, an LA-based non-profit co-founded with Ezra, Clayton provides year-round free adaptive sports opportunities for kids, adults, and veterans with physical disabilities or visual impairments.
