In this episode of Chasing the Insights, I talk to talented author Marylee MacDonald.
Marylee talks to us about the process of writing a novel.
Marylee MacDonald is an author, writing coach, and caregiver advocate.
The first draft of her novel, MONTPELIER TOMORROW, was written on Post-its, old envelopes, and the back of her hand. She was caring for her son-in-law, an athletic young lawyer with ALS (motor neuron disease).
In addition to MONTPELIER TOMORROW, MacDonald is the author of SURRENDER, a memoir, BODY LANGUAGE, BONDS OF LOVE AND BLOOD, and THE BIG BOOK OF SMALL PRESSES & INDEPENDENT PUBLISHERS.
She's the mother of five children, worked as a restoration carpenter for twenty years, and has won many literary awards for her fiction.
