Courtney Emerson, author of After You Vote: A Woman's Guide to Making an Impact, from Town Hall to Capitol Hill, joins Craig Hoffman for a conversation on civic engagement. Emerson discusses how and why women have historically been less active in politics and some of the remedies that could correct that course.

Plus, Craig and Courtney talk about the basic civics deficiency in the United States and the problems presently making it more difficult to correct them.
