Nile Fortner is a multimedia journalist, who was written, and hosted, for publications such as The Sun-Sentinel, Fort Lauderdale Magazine, Boca First, and The Miami New Times. Focusing his work on the people– and happenings– of South Florida, he shares with Kylie his experiences on the power that local journalism can have on a community, and more-so, the influence that serving a specific demographic can have on growing a career. Kylie and Nile also have a conversation about the state of the news world today, where they think journalism is headed in the future, and how to keep your eye– and actions– on what that future is, in order to keep evolving in your career.
