In Episode #9 of the CDSFA Community Football Podcast, we speak with Jerry Bitas from the Canterbury Referees Association (CRA). Jerry is one of the top referees within the CDSFA. A former CDSFA football player turn referee, Jerry lives and breathes refereeing. He simply loves it, winning many fans and accolades along the way. During the season, if you’re out there watching a BBC/1s or All Age 1s game, more often that not, it is Jerry that you will see in the middle of the centre circle blowing the whistle.

Jerry is also the Branch Coach for the CRA, a role he is extremely passionate about, especially when it comes to developing and inspiring new and young referees within the CDSFA.
