Each spring, the U.S. House of Representatives sponsors the Congressional Art Competition, a nationwide high school visual art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation and in each congressional district. Congressman Eli Crane (R-AZ) recently presented the winning student artists from across Arizona's Second Congressional District with scholarship awards in recognition of their hard work and talent. All submitted artwork was displayed at the Phippen Museum in Prescott, where local judges visited to view and evaluate each piece. This year's 1st Place winner was Hannah Pryor, a student at Miami High School, for her piece “My Cat”...
