After graduating with a psychology degree, Lara Perlstein wasn’t really sure where to go next. She decided to take a job in retail and worked her way up to store manager. Over the next few years, she worked multiple different jobs as office managers and administrative assistants, believing that all of the unique experiences she was having would only help to benefit her future. Eventually, she found herself running out of ways to gain new experiences in the corporate world and began seeking something new. A friend from college had joined a startup called WeWork that was growing quickly at the time. She applied there, and it ended up being her home for the next 4+ years until she found her way to Teal, where she's currently the Vice President of Operations.
