The Bible speaks very clearly about deception, especially in the last days. We see deception in our society at every turn and if not careful, can become conditioned to it. Psalm 12 talks about three types of deception; vanity, which we tell ourselves, flattery, which others tell us, and if these are left to take seed in our hearts they can lead to blasphemy against God.

Deception was prophesied in three of the four Gospels, and Jesus, Himself warned of false christs claiming to be The Christ. But all of this is for the purpose of deceiving people and causing them to fall away from faith in God.

Satan and his demons number one goal is to deceive God’s people. We must know His voice and His word, so that our faith remains strong and secure in Him, lest we fall prey to deception in these last days.
