Morhaf is a doctor living in Seattle which is one of the places in the united states that was hit extremely hard by Covid-19. Morhaf also was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, his lungs where filled with fluid which made it nearly impossible to breath. Listening and talking to Morhaf made me realize that he cares so much about so many things. It was as though he knows the weight of every passing second - as though each moment was a grain of sand yet contained the weight of the world. He does not want to be forgotten and therefore he packs everything into each moment of his life to be contributing to make the world a better place. Since he is living with his eyes on death each day it also means that he is living each day with the utmost purpose that he can find around him. This lead him to be compelled to march with the BLM protests that took place in Seattle. Please support Morhaf’s books because they sound fascinating.
