177 - Vote with Love with LT and J Hilton

Listeners, this week we're back with LT and J Hilton.

LT - Likes to describe herself as a Bay tree with Southern roots. She was simultaneously raised as a daughter of the Deep South and a student of the iconic social justice movements that were birthed in the Bay Area. It is this teaching that’s driven her  to dedicate her career to champion social good, no matter the circumstance.

As a producer, LT has had the honor of executive producing projects and initiatives that have advocated for the equitable enforcement of civil rights, raised awareness about the harmful impacts of unaddressed trauma, and inspired voters to cast their most thoughtful and informed vote yet.

As a strategist, she’s helped raise over $30 million to support education and non-profit organizations that focus on the advancement of equity and justice.

As a leader, LT has focused her approach on building and sustaining relationships and leveraging the diverse experience of dynamic teams

Throughout her career, she’s learned the importance of trusting your people, demonstrating compassionate leadership, making decisive yet difficult decisions, and most importantly, prioritizing her health and family. LT a proud Bay Area native raised with a family tradition steeped in the values of education, faith and artistry. She loves to sing, dance and write. She’s learned her creativity is one of the most sacred parts of her and she brings her whole self into her leadership style and approach.

Her personal mission is to inspire and motivate others by sharing her journey of personal and professional growth, committing herself to life-long learning and living life to the fullest.

J - As a kid his role models were typically the folks that hustled in creative ways. As a teen he was influenced by DJs and concert promoters and developed his first brand at 14 years young.

Since then J has had unbelievable life experiences and successes while also learning his way through a ton of mistakes. All the while he has been invited to sit around some interesting tables with amazing people helping him along the way.

While an entrepreneur at heart, his corporate experiences shaped himin that they elevated his perspective ✈️ deepened his skill sets and dished him some crazy life lessons. J has been part of several great efforts that birthed iconic brands, dreamed up new products and built some crazy successful teams. 💯 He’s gone through the 🔥 🔥 and has battle scars earned next to some of the best in the biz.

As a social entrepreneur since 1995 J has been surrounded by an awesome team who has blessed him to be able to blend his purpose and his passions... professionally. JI has witnessed amazing efforts that have resulted in unaddressed trauma getting addressed, public rights being protected and legislation saving lives. And for this, he is truly thankful. 🙏🏽

Today, their team's sole mission is to support the critical work of The Ambassador's Circle, a collective of creatives, change-makers, and social entrepreneurs on a mission to do more good.
