CableCast is a Pokémon VGC Podcast hosted by Caleb "Cable" Ryor whose goal is to delve deeper into the official Pokémon competitive circuit and its meta-game  by showcasing thoughts, opinions, and analysis from an always changing cast of guest VGC players.

This week Caleb is joined by David Mancuso and Ashton Cox two childhood friends and experienced VGC competitors since 2011 who plan to continue their tenure in the game going forward with Sword and Shield. They talk about the news regarding features added to the games to making obtaining and training Pokémon for competitive use even easier with the inclusion of mints that change your nature, new EXP candies you can obtain from raids, and much more! The real meat of the podcast however involves Sword and Shield spoiler talk regarding recent leaks and discoveries from early looks at the game, and Caleb and co go about pointing out what we know and how they think the new Pokémon will fare in VGC20 along with some of the leaked Galar Pokédex!
