Don’t Let Personal Challenges Hold You Back -- TTG128

In business and life, we all encounter personal challenges that push us to our limits. In this video, I share an important message: never give up hope when faced with a challenge.

Back in December of 2019, I visited Zion National Park. It has both an amazing landscape and astroscape for photography. I drove down there from Las Vegas in order to do Angel's Landing, one of the most dangerous hikes in the United States.

It’s a breathtaking location, but to actually get up there is petrifying. I was scared senseless. Because there had been snow and ice recently, no guide would take me up. So, I went in the morning and just thought I'd get as far as I could, then turn around.

Off I went, just to enjoy the moment and see how far I could get. Once I got to the last half kilometer, things got tough. I turned around, and then went back, over and over again. This back and forth is also common in business. When confronted with personal challenges, it’s important to never give up hope. You will find a way forward if you keep trying.

Finally, I took a leap of faith and got through to the other side and met up with a couple who I finished the hike with. We encouraged each other the rest of the way.

Having someone that can guide and support you is important because they can help boost your confidence and make things easier. Then, once you’ve done something once, you can always go back with the confidence to do it alone.

This is as true for business challenges as it is in for personal challenges. Never give up hope because you never know how close you are to achieving your goals.
