Be really clear about what you want people to do when they have watched your video ‘the call to action' To understand the impact of your video, use; Awareness and reach metrics - views, play rates, shares and impressions Engagement metrics - likes and dislikes, positive and negative reactions, comments and watch time Conversion metrics - click-through rate Audience behaviour - traffic sources and viewer demographics Typically your audience will spend a lot of time in one place so it's about creating content that engages and interests them and will resonant with them.
