Bare Knuckle Farms with Matt Camp | Business and Brews

Matt Camp has been farming in NC since 2019 - Bare Knuckle Farms is currently licensed to sell both pork and beef products that are raised on our land in Cameron, NC and processed at state and federally licensed facilities.

Matt was born and raised in coastal Virginia and moved west with the Marine Corps in 2005.  After 4 years of service and two combat deployments, in 2009 he got out and held various veteran and mental health advocate positions - including championing the mentorship program for San Diego’s first Veterans Treatment Court.  A few years, a few kids, and a few career changes later, he landed in North Carolina with his family for a quality of life upgrade.

Bare Knuckle Farms started, as family farms usually do, with a couple of chickens and a couple of goats.  From there, we expanded to hogs and in 2020 fenced-in more pasture for cows.  When the stores started running our of meat in Spring 2020, Matt prioritized getting his meat handlers license so that we could be of more service to the community.
