During this episode, we talk about how being vulnerable is a strength and so many other great topics that will leave you feeling good for the potential holiday stressors.

The Burnt Out Experience

For Kashonna, feeling burnt out means that she wakes up in the morning and she's just not feeling it.

She wakes up a little sad, and feels somewhat incomplete.. sometimes she feels inadequate and questions whether or not she can "really do this."

There are times where Koshanna said she had to break down and cry.
Once, she even felt like she was on the verge of depression, but she was able to gather herself.

So how did she deal?   Purpose

Kashonna found her passion. She discovered that people are what drive her spirit for life and she started a business that allows her to connect with people daily. So, when she goes to work, it constantly re-inspires her and makes her feel like she can take on the world.

She knows her life's purpose and that makes her feel like she's totally winning.

  Stay in Bed

By golly, allow your body to get the rest it needs!!!

It's okay to let yourself take a pause to regroup and relax. Koshanna said that you need to "give yourself permission to pause." Every once-in-a-while, she takes a day to stare at the wall or watch Netflix in her pajamas for the whole day.

And while it's okay to pause, it's not okay to stop.
Once you can take a breath, you'll have more energy, focus, and drive to hit the ground rolling.

  Ask "Is it worth it?"

During a burnout where Kashonna felt like totally giving up, she asked herself "Is it worth it to me to give up on this?"

In a moment, she thought about the people who she would leave behind, the legacy of her work that would crumble, and her passion for work that would create an emptiness in her life.

No. Immediately her answer was, no.
