In some ways we can compare our loss journey to that of a Marathon runner.

The runner gives 100% to the race.  They give their mental, emotional and physical strength, plus all their preparation to race day.

We experience our grief at 100%. We give our mental, emotional, spiritual and even physical, our life experiences, our beliefs and our all to the grieving process.

While obviously the marathon runner’s experience and the griever’s experience is enormously different, examining the similarities can be instructive.

In the episode, I also talk about being stuck in grief, Dr. Joe Dispenza’s ideas on emotional addiction and other tools that can help us to get the heavy, negative emotions up and out of our system.
