I've had a very adventurous life.  Ernest Hemingway was one of my heroes as an author and adventurer... but his lifestyle and final summaries of life are much different than mine.  I've never been an alcoholic so my attitude and appreciation of life have always exceeded everyone else I've known by being healthy and appreciative of live, this planet, Nature, plants, animals, and everywhere I've been that has been beautiful to me.  I've loved deserts, Oceanside's, mountains, the ocean, and even living in my car.

My appreciation of the world outside me has been founded and based on my appreciation of the world inside me.  Despite the horrific environments I've endured, I've been able to keep an inner beauty that is my constant source of pride, and ego.  Yes, EGO.  People who fear their egos fear the truth of their actions.  Have a strong ego based upon knowing you are a good person.

The "Christian Golden Rule" is "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

The "Confucian Golden Rule" (which came first) is "DO NOT do unto others what you DO NOT want done to you."  This does not validate murder like the Christian rule does.
