Overview
Set on a career path in IT and software development, Kyle Stumpenhorst was living in the city working a nine-five office job. In less than a year, Kyle realized that working for somebody and working in an office environment just wasn't for him. Looking for a way out, Kyle and his then fiancé purchased a farm house in dire need of renovation and remodeling. Partnering with his father, a lifelong DIY'er, he took on the challenge of remodeling their house independently. With only his fathers limited expertise, and D.I.Y TV shows, Kyle learned the art of remodeling from scratch. One thing led to another, and Kyle was landing remodeling gigs for friends and family. It wasn't until his wife's grandpas asked him to do a post-frame garage that he found his true stride.
