Brutally Honest Reviews | The Girl... (2018) - "I Just Want To Go To Some Swedish Underground Club"

Hey everyone and welcome back to Brutally Honest Reviews, only on The Brutally Honest Network. This week we have an installment in "The Girl Who" series. Foreshadowed by the prior films, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played With Fire & The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets Nest, this is the 2nd American adaptation of the originally Swedish franchise which in turn is a book series adaptation by the author Stieg Larsson. But wait, there's more. That author didn't write this book or screenplay. That's right. Another author has somehow been allowed to coin an installment in the deceased author's series, which in my opinion is capitalism at it's finest (Evan). Claire Foy takes over for Rooney Mara, whom played the lead in all of the other films. An interesting note, when you realize that neither the original Director, David Fincher or the popular co-star Daniel Craig signed onto this one. Makes you wonder.
