King Grossman is a poet, novelist, and writer of short prose, currently working on his fourth novel in a studio at Carmel-by-the-Sea in northern California. His work has appeared in Licking River Review, Crack the Spine, Forge, Tiger’s Eye, DMQ Review, Diverse Voices Quarterly, Qwerty, Burningword, Ignatian, and Caveat Lector Magazine.
A longtime fugitive from the worlds of Wall Street and Capitol Hill, King is also a social justice activist who regularly participates in nonviolent public actions to address climate change, economic injustice, inhumane immigration policy, oppressive violence and militarism.
