On December 1, 2020, our panel of experts discussed the 2021 Basel Convention restrictions on the global plastic scrap trade (you can view that recording on demand HERE). Now, almost one month after those restrictions went into effect, we interview Zoe Heller, Deputy Director for Policy Development at the California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) regarding plastics recycling in the U.S., possible impacts of the restrictions, and other developments to expect in 2021 and beyond.
