In this episode, Libby Walklett explains her journey to starting her bookkeeping practice around caring for her parents and young family. Libby relocated and retrained and eventually set up her own business.

The explain how to run a bookkeeping practice as an AAT member. They discuss:
- the difference between becoming AATQB and MAAT
- what level of training is required before applying for an AAT practice license
- how to get support if you didn't complete your studies and are coming back to AAT
- how much experience is required for an AAT license
- what can be considered as experience for a practice license
- funding that may be available for training through apprenticeships
