Tapping (or Emotional Freedom Techniques) is a tool used to help reduce emotional distress, worry, stress, etc. This technique involves using your fingertips to tap along specific points on the body (primarily on the head and face) in a particular sequence. While tapping, the individual focuses on the issues they wish to address. Meridian tapping is based on the principles of acupuncture and has even been referred to as psychological acupressure.
