Have you heard about “branding words?” Kelsey Kurtis was the person who introduced me to the concept of branding words many years ago. She is a pro when it comes to teaching you how to develop these words and make them part of who you are.

The idea of branding words is just starting to catch on, but have been around for a while. Your marketingbff.com says branding words are descriptors you want people to use to endorse your business. These are words that define you, your work, and what clients get by working with you…. Words you hope people are using when you’re not around.

These are the words you want others to use to describe you when you’re not around. They are the impression that you want to leave on other people. They are powerful! And you can start taking control of planting these little branding word seeds today!

So, start thinking about what words you want people to use to describe. Start thinking about what words they may already be using to describe you. Make a list! Maybe even throw out a post on social media or ask your friends and followers to tell you a couple words that come to mind when they think of you. Once you start paying attention you will notice words that keep repeating themselves, and you can start to narrow down the words you want to be associated with.
