The First Battle

Memories are interesting, you can look at them a hundred different times in a hundred different ways based on your mood, age, and awareness. You can even bring in a fresh pair of eyes, to examine your memories with you, and discover another hundred different angles.

Sharing my first school experience with you made me wonder a lot about how unnatural my childhood was from the perspective of relying on adults. For some reason beyond my understanding, I made a choice to NOT rely on adults or cry for help at the age of 6 Years old. It may be a sign of how highly independent I was back then but it also may be a sign of how uncertain or scared I was to share my humiliation and embarrassing moments with my parents or anyone for that matter.

I do hope this episode allows you to observe any signs in yourself or others and encourages you to create a safe space for yourself or others to share and truly express what is going on inside.
