This isn't going to be an easy lesson for me to write out or that even one photo or video can fully explain so we'll just start here.

Notice that EVERY other object in the water's reflection is
accurate and true to it's true shape - ALL - there is no exception.
So don't start saying that the sun is the big exception here in the waters' reflection for some reason. There is NO scientific reason or excuse for why the sun's reflection looks like that other than THIS IS HOW THE SUN TRULY LOOKS. You're only able to see it like this within the reflection of a window or water - I don't' know why other than there must be control factors that switch when it sees thinks like camera. I don't' know.
