The creative process is something that is different for everyone.
I am always fascinated by how people go about making new things.
Whether it’s a drawing, a new business, a cupcake, setting up a flower arrangement, a football play, or in the case of our interview podcast today, music.
There’s truly something remarkable about bringing something to the world that is unique to you but others will find value in.
There’s also many setbacks, fears, and resistance that comes with the process as well.
In some cases, millions of people will benefit. In others, no one will ever know your creation. Sometimes creations aren’t meant for everybody and it’s ok if it’s only for you. But through the process there is always growth of experience that you can apply to the next thing you make. The key is to keep practicing the process.
Learning about other people’s process can help us along in our journey making things.
So today, that’s why I have my singer, song writer, producer, coffee table maker, teacher, neat freak, and friend, Luke O’brien on the podcast to chat about his process and his approach to making stuff.
Enjoy.
Love, Boyder.
