Yes, Dad died.  Yes, it was tough living with him and Mom while I watched him fight for his life for his wife.  And yes, it was a blessing to be here.

I did do some podcasts until October, however, it was tough.  Dad told me in June he was dying.  Amazing man!!  Renaissance man.  Great in art, science, English, and sports.  Wrote poems, sand base baritone skied, and played tennis like a pro and any other sport he was so good at even without coaching.  And a wonderful leader.... and most of all husband and father.

Even if he left on December 23rd, I have felt more pain from stress, yet no visit from "bulimia".  Not even once did I even consider it.  So for anyone who thinks it's a disease like alcohol or cigarettes?  Not at all.  I eat food now as enjoyment and blessing as I did at Dad's Celebration of Life, without having to overeat and run to some toilet somewhere and throw up my pain.  My pain is in my heart and surrounded by my feeling of his presence in my Mom.  After all, they say when you get married you become one.  Only when Mom goes will Dad go.

Thank you for being a listener.  I look forward to my new guests.  We will be resuming first week of February with Kari Anderson, My Eating Doctor.   Looking so forward to that.
