The band is called Advocates of Truth.
They are brother duo Rajab Ally and Gallyna, who are multilingual; mixing the languages like French, English, and Swahili in their songs to interact with audiences from around the nation. Together they emerge HIP HOP, Dancehall, Afro-pop, and R&B vibes, creating an Afro-Fusion genre. Two players were added to the group Shadrack Kayombo (guitarist) and Andrew Dhams(drummer)
Advocates of Truth currently won the 2020 Emerging Artist of the year award at the African Nova Scotian Music Association Awards. They are currently working on a project that they will be releasing in the Summer.
