About the panel:Our panel consists of incredible individuals, including a courageous Piscataway high school student and self-advocate, Deziree Graham, who shares her lived experience as a Black neurodivergent individual. Alongside her, we have three exceptional professionals in the field of education, each bringing their unique expertise and insights. Frank Latham, Youth Leadership and People First Coordinator at the New Jersey Council on Developmental Disabilities (NJCDD); Carmen Porter - Learning Disabilities Teacher/Consultant in Pittsgrove Twp and consultant with the NJEA; and Shaye Brown-Crandol - Special Education Teacher in Prospect Park, previously in Paterson, and parent of a child with a disability.
