I can barely keep up with my own neuroses let alone yours!

I record a podcast episode with a friend listening in.  The “A Course In Miracles” was good this morning so I go through my notes as well as all the Webster’s Dictionary definitions of words that I liked.  Kind of an experimental episode :).

Show notes:

A Course In Miracles (ACIM) super juicy this morning.  Some notes and thoughts I wrote down:  Ego - the fact that we can think about ourselves.  What someone else needs wants or should be doing doesn’t concern me.  Webster definitions of:

“Ally” - to form or enter into an alliance.“Pursue” - 1) To follow in order to overtake, capture, kill, or defeat.  2) To find or employ measures to obtain or accomplish.  The ego wants you dead but not itself, lol!"Dissolution" - 1) a. The act or process of dissolving.  Such as separation into component parts.  b). Decay, Disintegration."Equanimity" - Evenness of mind especially under stress; Right disposition.  If I’m in a state of equanimity perhaps I’m still in an ego state and it’s just an illusion that I am not."Foretaste" - 1) A small anticipatory sample.  An advance indication or warning.  The Ego is setting us up.

The ego wants guilt all encompassing!  Then you hit bottom and have a bitch slap from the universe.  There is no fear in the present.  I have a question for you “Does the word immortality chap you?”  What if I didn’t think about myself and I only thought about you with love?  We are a child of…?  Change is an illusion.  

Salvation - 2) Liberation from ignorance or illusion.  Or my favorite 1) c. - The realization of the supremacy of infinite Mind over all bringing with it the destruction of the illusion of sin, sickness, and deathAfford - 2) To make available, give forth, or provide naturally or inevitably.

I can barely keep up with my own neuroses let alone yours!  I need to be willing to say to people “these matters you want to discuss bother me not, I do not care.  But I will listen if you want somebody to listen."  Things that used to interest and bother me bother me no more :).
