Some thoughts from A Course In Miracles today… If I go to gods love I have to relinquish the ego and all its trappings, and I perhaps don’t want to do that. If I’m here to learn, that means the same for you. So, in effect, I can’t be upset with your path. Some thoughts on playing the victim and more!

The illusions of the ego are so strong. If I go to god I’m scared I’m gonna lose the money, the girls, the relationships, the sex, whatever. Insert whatever my mind things it needs to be happy other than the G O D.

The happy learner cannot feel guilty about learning. If I’m hear to learn - that means the same for you and scale it on up,

If you yield to guilt you are deciding against your happiness and you will not learn how to be happy.

If what you say, or someone says, or anyones says or does for that matter, upsets me, tweaks me or I judge it as needing it to be different … I am playing the victim - I am blaming them for how I think feel and/or act. I don’t like that because I want to put the responsibility for my internal centeredness onto you and people places and things.

This is my chance, in the moment, to choose between my ego or ___________?

Choosing between the go and the inverse of ego.

At any given moment when I am disconcerted I am having a crisis of faith, and I love that!

Whether he does this or does this not will make no difference I will think he does - When I’m projecting my discontentment onto other people :).
