A ist im Urlaub, und muss später berichten. O hat sich in Deutschland in beim OER-Camp in Hamburg getummelt und sich mit Teilen des Stud.IP e.V. in Hildesheim getroffen. Außerdem hat er kurz vor knapp noch ein Nanodegree-Programm bei Udacity abgeschlossen und seinen Artikel für das JFMH17 fertiggestellt — oder was man so nennen könnte.

Since the introduction of AIME, this concept appears to have vanished. To obtain a clearer picture of where the theory of AIME has diffused, we conducted a literature search focusing on the period 1985–2015. We examined scientific articles (N = 244) that cite Salomon (1984) and content-analyzed their keywords. Based on these keywords, we identified seven content clusters: affect and motivation, application fields, cognition and learning, education and teaching, media technology, learning with media technology, and methods. We present selected works of each content cluster and describe in which research field the articles had been published. Results indicate that AIME was most commonly (but not exclusively) referred to in the area of educational psychology indicating its importance regarding learning and education, thereby investigating print and TV, as well as new media. From a methodological perspective, research applied various research methods (e.g., longitudinal studies, experimental designs, theoretical analysis) and samples (e.g., children, college students, low income families). From these findings, the importance of AIME for further research is discussed.},

Im Paper geht es um die Theorie rund um den/die/das “amount of invested mental effort” und was daraus geworden ist. Sie wird zwar noch ab und an zitiert, aber ist im Prinzip nie genutzt worden — hat aber immerhin Einzug in verschiedene Wissenschaftsfelder gehalten und ist in anderen Konzepten aufgegangen.

Tool+Alt+Entf: H5P Dictation

O berichtet von seinem neuen Content Type H5P Dictation, mit dem man — wer hätte es gedacht — Diktate virtuell abbilden kann. Ist fertig und wartet nun auf die Begutachtung des Quelltextes und die Prüfung auf Barrierefreiheit.

Politik+Alt+Entf: Uploadfilter in der Bildungslandschaft

Es gibt da diesen Vorschlag zur Reform des Urheberrechts in Europa. Der enthält einen Artikel 13, der Uploadfilter vorsieht, wenn Diensteanbieter der Informationsgesellschaft große Mengen der von ihren Nutzern hochgeladenen Werke speichern oder öffentlich zugänglich machen. O lässt dazu seinen juristischen Laiengedanken ihren Lauf und überlegt, was das für die Bildungswelt bedeuten könnte — sofern es keine weiteren Regelungen gibt.

Der Artikel 13 ist gerade vom Rechtsausschuss durchgewinkt worden, aber das EU-Plenum hat ihn noch einmal gebremst. Danke dafür an Julia Reda! Ist aber noch nicht vorbei! Am 12. September wird über Änderungsanträge abgestimmt. Hilf auch du vorher mit, unser Internet zu retten!
