Dr. Ronny Jackson is a retired Rear Admiral who left service as the personal physician to the president and a medical adviser on pandemic preparedness. He left that role to run for Congress in TX-13, a vast district covering the Panhandle. In this episode, Jackson talks about growing up in a small town just outside of the district, working his way through college, medical school, serving in Iraq, and eventually making his way to the White House as part of a team of military medical advisers. We also discuss the President's response to Coronavirus, the criticisms lobbed from the media, and what he makes of some of the changes in protocol as the response has evolved.
