Psalm 8 is a great psalm that has often inspired worship of his name and wonderment that such a glorious Being would care for people. The psalmist is overwhelmed in his thoughts of the glorious majesty of God and the creatureliness of mankind. Such a glorious God thinks about people and reveals himself to them. God's glory is seen in the universe and it is displayed in the earth. O LORD our Lord how majestic is your Name in all the earth. These words have often lead to poem expressed in psalter renditions and hymns such O Lord, Our Lord, Thy Glorious Name and the well known hymn, How Great Thou Art.
