One of the most touching stories in the gospel narratives is the one that focuses in a blind beggar, Son of Timaeus (Bartimaeus). He heard that Jesus of Nazareth was passing his way. Although the crowd was loud and thick he cried out, Jesus, Son of David have mercy on me!  Rebuked by the crowd and sternly told to be quite he cried out even louder. Jesus, Son of David have mercy on me.
And his cry was heard. Jesus stopped. He said, Bring him to me. Bartimaeus threw off his cloak and went to Jesus.
