Trish Glowacki is a social entrepreneur and mental health advocate. Trish lost her 21-year-old son, Charlie, to an accidental Oxycontin overdose in 2011, after a five-year battle with anxiety, depression, and substance misuse. In the wake of Charlie’s passing, Trish searched for ways to both handle the incredible grief and honor the memory of her beloved son.

Trish launched Glowmedia in 2016 and has created a library of short films, based on the Warning model, addressing a broad range of mental health issues. To date, five films are available with two additional coming in 2023.  The films are available free of charge through Glowmedia’s website and through educational streaming services Discovery Education and Learn360.

Trish graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.  She lives in Washington, D.C. and is involved in local charities supporting education and mental health.
