2. Lara's Money Story

Even as a very young girl, Lara Ford saw the stress finances caused her single mom. Lara was forced to grow up fast when her mom passed away when she was only 17 - becoming financially independent without any financial IQ. Ultimately she and her husband had times of financial growth and prosperity. However, there were setbacks that forced them to start concentrating on their “path to success” (or what most people call budget) and start aggressively preparing for their future retirement, rather than living in the moment and hoping it would all come together "someday" once their kids graduate from college.
